Ducati rider, Italian Francesco Bagnaia, won first place in the Italian Grand Prix motorcycle race, the seventh stage of the MotoGP World Championship, at the Mugello circuit in front of 80,000 spectators.
Bagnaia, the two-time world champion, took the lead over his compatriot Enea Bastianini and his Ducati colleague, while the Spanish Marc Marquez (Ducati Gresini), the six-time world champion, came in fourth place.
The weekend was perfect for Bagnaia, who also won the Sprint race, and the victory was his third in a row in this race, and also reduced the gap over Martin to 18 points in the world championship standings.
