Renault and Andretti renewed partnership

After receiving approval from the FIA ​​to participate in the championship, Andretti Engine Company began preparing for the next stage, but other obstacles quickly appeared, represented by waiting for the final approval of its engines by the Formula One Foundation itself and its CEO, Stefano Domenicali.

For its part, General Motors announced that it will actually participate in the championship starting in the 2027 or 2028 season, and that it will not be just a sponsor of the American team. On the other hand, Bruno Famine, interim director of the Renault Alpine team, announced that the French company wants to supply the new team, in its first season, with Andretti engines, in accordance with the previous agreement between them.
